Brandon was born on December 9, 1994. He was a miracle. His umbilical cord had two knots in it. It was a miracle that he survived. He weighed 6 lbs abd 7ounces. He made his grand appearance a little too early for his still developing lungs. He was in the hospital for 6 days. Then we brought our little bundle of joy to meet his big brother Jake. They took one look at each other and Jake decided Brandon needed to go back to where he came from. One morning I was coming down the hall holding Brandon and Jake who was four years old, came down the hall and put his hands on his hips and demanded "Put that baby down and get me something to drink! "Brandon also had two other big brothers Johnny who was three years old, and one year old Spanky. Brandon had three big brothers to teach him how to do all kinds of stuff. They all fought hard, but they loved hard too. They stuck together if anyone was picking on them. Everyone in the family referred to them as "the four boys". Brandon was such a unique person. He had the disposition of a judge as a baby. He always looked so serious. He loved Disney movies, especially if they had animals in them. He absolutley loved Babe and The Black Stallion. He loved comedies also. His favorite comedy when he was a toodler was Happy Gilmore. The only problem was he went around calling everyone a jackass afterward, haha. One Chrstimas, Brandon's dad built him a real rocking horse with his own hands. When Brandon woke up he had the most beatiful smile I have ever seen. We asked him what he was going to name his horse and he said "Chocolate" and then we said "Ok chocolate it is" then he said "Cupcake" and we asked him which one he wanted to name the horse he said "Chocolate Cupcake". If he liked two things and you aksed him which one he wanted he would name both it was really cute. I asked him "are you a momma's boy or a daddy's boy?" and he would say "Im a momma's boy and a daddy's boy." He loved playing with action figure and GI Joes. He collected a ton of wrestling action figures. Every summer my dad took us to Lake DeGray. Our last summer visit, in 2007, Brandon started tubing behind the boat. He loved it. The faster the boat would go the more stunts he did. He held on really well. He became very serious about fishing on our last trip. I remember we sat in that boat for hours. He was catching the fish and I was reading and taking the fish off the hook with pliers. As soon as he would put that cricket in the water he would catch another one. They were small. He was catching them to bait the troutline. We all went to the swimming area alot. I was afraid of water so Brandon would hold on to my floaty and protect me from his big brother, Jake, flipping me over! We had a blast.
